Adella Lei Buss

Go to Pictures Adella Lei Buss is a local artist, born in Honolulu. She graduated from UH Manoa with an MFA. She teaches drawing at the Honolulu Academy of Arts and art appreciation at Kapi'olani Community College. Her photoetchings are in the collections of the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and in private collections. Currently she is learning to engrave on copper.

Artist's Statement

Someone with a clear and empty heart mirrors images of the Invisible. He becomes intuitive and certain of our inmost thought, because 'the faithful are a mirror for the faithful'
