Lori was born and raised in Hawaii. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Professional Diploma in Secondary Art Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has participated in solo, group, and juried exhibitions in the USA and abroad. Her work in mixed media fiber, ceramics, and wood is represented in the collections of the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and in private collections in the United States and abroad.
My work draws upon the diversity of the natural world and humankind's spiritual
relationship to it as its primary source of inspiration. It is intended that my
work serve as a vehicle for dialog with which the viewer can explore their
relationship to both the physical and spiritual worlds, whether it be collective
