Gordon K. Uyehara

Go to Pictures Gordon K. Uyehara is a metal clay artist and instructor residing in the state of Hawaii. He began his metal clay adventure by taking classes at a local bead store. Gordon became obsessed with creating metal clay pieces and eventually moved on to teaching the craft to others. Since then he discovered the many people around the world who also create with metal clay and openly share their experiences with those who have never tried it. His art is influenced mostly by nature, science fiction, and other artists he admires. Artist's Statement

My inspiration for "thirst" are the many fascinating creatures inhabiting our waters. That we are polluting the very element our lives depend upon, is the hallmark of human stupidity. I seek a higher level of human consciousness which may never be satiated.
