Artist's Statement
This body of work serves as a visual discourse on the topics of preservation, interconnectedness, survival,
and fragility. Through them I explore personal and collective narratives both real and imagined. I travel
through these changing landscapes with a view toward discovery and invite the viewer to do the same.
Specifically constructed from recycled or found objects and reclaimed woods these works use a minimum of
new elements and were developed to encourage the use of alternative materials.
