Bronze and Copper Clay Workshop Not only are bronze and copper clays less expensive alternatives to silver clay, their rich tones provide attractive design opportunities. This exploratory hands-on workshop will focus squarely on the fundamental concepts of using these base metal clays. We'll cover texturing, shaping, joining, refining, firing approaches and challenges, finishing, and combining clays through a variety of projects. A fun weekend of creating and learning! Art Clay Silver Introduction/Explorations/Beginning This workshop is the best way for students to get started with silver metal clay. In this introductory workshop students will learn the basics of how to shape, texture, fire, and finish their way to unique fine silver focal and accent pieces. Silver jewelry you can make all in a day! Learn how to antique your pieces with Liver of Sulfur. Bring your textures and rubber stamps. Length varies from 3 hours to a full-day. Prerequisite: none. Cosmic Honu Pendant Learn about stenciling, shaping, and multi-part construction in this fun but challenging workshop. Participants will assembly and decorate their own Cosmic Honu (sea turtle) Pendant. Each one will be unique. Wear your beautiful pendant home to many compliments! One to two days.
